We have a vast amount of straight-length elements that can be made available for next-day delivery or same-day collection. Alternatives and Special Orders
Available on special order are alternative diameters of 6.5mm, 8mm, 9.5mm, 11mm and 12mm with required cold ends. Sheath materials Incoloy, Stainless Steel 304 and 316L.
Terminations and Mounting Methods

Straight-length rod heaters are versatile heating elements that are used in a wide range of industries and applications. If direct immersion heating or localised heat generation is required, they provide efficient and controllable heat transfer. We often find that our standard stock covers the needs of our customers, but we can make alterations for specific requirements. Our team will be able to discuss this with you.
A well-maintained and properly used straight-length rod heater can have a lifespan ranging from several years to over a decade. In addition to maintenance, the lifespan will depend heavily on the amount it’s been used, to what extent, and what for. We recommend regular checks to ensure there are no signs of deterioration, at which point we’ll be happy to assist you in providing a replacement.
Our standard stock can be shipped within 24 hours of receiving your order and may arrive the next day or the day after. We also offer same-day collections for our standard stock from our base in Staffordshire.
We don’t offer installation but can assist your engineers if they have any questions in this regard.
